Cushion made from a vintage Welsh tapestry blanket - mustard, black and white

I made this cushion from a vintage Welsh tapestry blanket, also known as a carthen, in the Caernafon design. The colours are mustard yellow, grey , black and white. The pattern reminds me of stickle bricks but also space invaders! It is both geometric and rustic folky at one and the same time.

Would look great on a modern grey sofa or in a mid century inspired living room.

The cushion measures 16" square and has plain grey wool on the reverse.

All interior seams are overlocked to prevent fraying.

My cushions are made to a very high standard.
