I bought this pair of white plastic swivel armchairs and wanted to do something very different with the seat cushions.
I reupholstered the seats using reclaimed needlepoint tapestries. I think that the contrast of textures ie plastic and tapestry and periods ie modern and antique make them really interesting pieces.
I think they would look great in a quirky boutique hotel and they would also look equally at home in a period home that combines modern and antiques.
This listing is for the one pictured here but there is another available with a different tapestry on the seat.
