Last Friday I took the initiative of emailing Taylors of Harrogate some photos of my coffee sack upholstery, as I met Louise from Scrap Creative Reuse Art Project, where I source them, and discovered that the sacks are donated by Taylors. This morning I received a lovely email from them, showing a lot of interest in my work with the sacks, and saying that they would like to write about me on their blog! Here's a link to their blog: http://www.taylorscoffee.co.uk/blog/2012/04/meet-simon-our-new-sustainability-manager/
A wonderful opportunity has arisen for me to sell my furniture and cushions in a Leeds City Centre shop. It's called Fabrication and it's in The Light, just off The Headrow. It's a collective of West Yorkshire artists, craftspeople and designer-makers, so it's like a craft department store. Open every day from 10am till 6pm, it's a great place to find a handmade gift or item for your home.
